A Pizza Story Born
in New York City

It all started in 2009 when founder Marco Deluca set up a small wood-fired oven in his apartment on the Upper East Side. What began as weekend pizza parties for friends quickly grew into something neither he nor New York was ready for — a full-blown obsession with hand-stretched dough, fresh local ingredients, and sauces made from heirloom tomatoes.

In 2010, Jet's Pizza opened its first location at 1165 2nd Ave. The line stretched around the block on opening day and hasn't stopped since. Today, we serve hundreds of pies daily, and every single one is made with the same care and dedication as that very first slice.

2009

The First Dough

Marco Deluca perfects his grandmother's pizza dough recipe in his Upper East Side apartment, hosting weekend pizza nights that become the talk of the neighborhood.

2010

Grand Opening

Jet's Pizza opens its doors at 1165 2nd Ave, New York. The line stretches down the block. Within the first week, every table is fully booked for the month.

2013

Best Pizza Award

New York Food Magazine names Jet's Pizza "Best New Pizza Joint in Manhattan." The phone lines ring off the hook and reservations fill up three weeks in advance.

2015

Online Ordering Launches

We launch our online ordering platform, making it easier than ever for New Yorkers to get their favorite Jet's pies delivered hot to their door.

2018

Franchise Program Begins

The Jet's Pizza franchise program launches, allowing passionate entrepreneurs to bring the authentic Jet's experience to their own communities nationwide.

2022

Sustainability Pledge

Jet's Pizza commits to 100% recyclable packaging, partners with three local organic farms, and joins the NYC Green Restaurant initiative to reduce our carbon footprint.

2024

500,000 Pizzas Served
